Cutiyt Total Cream which is manufactured by IPCA Labs works by possessing the pharmacological activity due to tannins constituents. It contains the below details explain ingredients:

Citric Acid

Products containing citric acid and some of its salts and esters can be safely formulated for specific application to baby skin or use near the eye area or on mucous membranes. In addition, they may be used in cosmetic sprays, including hair, deodorant, body and other propellant and pump spray products. Citric acid is also one of a group of ingredients known as alpha hydroxy acids that are used as the active ingredients in chemical skin peels. Sodium citrate may be used in all types of cosmetic products, including baby products, make-up, lipstick, bath products, soaps and detergents, hair dyes and colors, and hair and skin care products. Tributyl citrate and triethyl citrate may be used in bath products, other cleansing products, and creams and lotions.

The citric acid ingredients most commonly used in cosmetics are citric acid, sodium citrate, tributyl citrate and triethyl citrate. According to the 2016 U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Voluntary Cosmetic Registration Program (VCRP), citric acid was used in almost every category of cosmetic product with over 10,000 reported uses. The next most commonly used citric acid-derived ingredients were sodium, tributyl and triethyl citrate.

Arbutin

Arbutin is a natural skin lightening/whitening agent. It works by slowly releasing hydroquinone through hydrolysis, which in turn blocks Tyrosinase activity and reduces the skin’s melanin (pigmentation) production. In cosmetics, this ingredient appears in two different forms: Alpha-Arbutin or Beta-Arbutin. Due to patenting concerns, most skin care products contain plant extracts that contain Arbutin (e.g. bearberry, pear, blueberry), rather than pure Arbutin. Used in a variety of cosmetics, particularly ones aimed at lightening the skin such as lotions, crèmes, serums, cleansers, and spot treatments.

Rumex

Rumex extract comes from Field Dock, a plant native to the Canadian Prairies. Rumex extract works by inhibiting the production of tyrosinase, an enzyme present in human skin and that is responsible for the formation of pigmentation which causes color in skin. Inhibiting tyrosinase reduces the formation of new pigment.

Hyperpigmentation is a skin condition that involves over production of melanin, the skin’s pigment. It ranges from conditions including Melasma to freckles and can affect anyone. While not considered to be medically serious, hyperpigmentation can be disfiguring and affected individuals often feel self conscious about their condition.
