Sunban forte cream which is use by adult for sun protection is manufactured in India and contained the below details explain ingredients:

Octyl Methoxycinnamate

Octyl Methoxycinnamate is an organic ester used in sunscreens (and lip balms) formed from methoxycinnamic acid and 2-ethylhexanol (Source). It is a sun blocking agent that absorbs UVB rays, but not UVA rays. However, when it is exposed to sunlight, it is rendered less effective, although this reaction can be prevented by the addition of other ingredients (as seen in the formula of Tinsorb). It is also used to reduce to appearance of scars.

Oxybenzone

FDA has approved the use of oxybenzone as an active ingredient in sunscreens as safe and effective in concentrations of up to 6%. When used as a sunscreen active ingredient, oxybenzone protects the skin from the harmful effects of the sun’s UV rays. Exposing unprotected skin to UV light can result in sunburn (primarily from UV-B rays) and can promote premature aging of the skin and skin cancer (primarily from UV-A rays). Because oxybenzone absorbs and dissipates UV radiation, it can also serve to protect cosmetics and personal care products from deterioration due to exposure to UV light.

Titanium Dioxide

Titanium dioxide is typically micronized and coated for use in cosmetics products. The micronizing makes this somewhat heavy-feeling ingredient easier to spread on skin, plus a bit more cosmetically elegant. Micronized titanium dioxide is much more stable and can provide better sun protection than non-micronized titanium dioxide. Micronized titanium dioxide doesn't penetrate skin so there’s no need to be concerned about it getting into your body.

Even when titanium dioxide nanoparticles are used, the molecular size of the substance used to coat the nanoparticles is large enough to prevent them from penetrating beyond the uppermost layers of skin. This means you’re getting the sun protection titanium dioxide provides with no risk of it causing harm to skin or your body.

Oxybenzone

Oxybenzone is sometimes called out as a sunscreen active that is damaging to undersea coral reefs, the theory being that the sunscreen gets into the water from human activity in the oceans. However, despite research showing oxybenzone negatively impacts coral components in vitro (meaning in a lab setting), there doesn’t seem to be conclusive causation in a marine environment, especially given the numerous other factors, including climate change, believed to be responsible for the loss of coral reefs.
