Overview

Neoskin Cream is used for Itch or rash, Skin inflammation, Adjunctive therapy in hepatic coma, Prevention of oral thrush, Skin problems, Eczema, Treatment of ringworm, Fungal skin infection of the vagina, Treatment of jock itch, Fungal infections of nappy rash and other conditions. Neoskin Cream may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Uses

Neoskin cream provides a comprehensive treatment for various inflammatory dematological disorders superadded with bacterial or superficial fungal infections of the skin. Betamethasone dipropionate is one of the most potent topical corticosteroid available and rapidly controls the symptoms such as itching, redness, and swelling.

Many times the inflammatory skin disorder which response to topical corticosteroids is superadded with bacterial and/or fungal infections of the skin. In these conditions, treatment with anti-inflammatory agents alone is not sufficient and a proper antibiotic has to be added in the regimen.

Clotrimazole is a broad-spectrum synthetic antifungal agent which has fungicidal action against all the fungi responsible for superficial fungal infections of the skin. Neomycin sulfate is a broad-spectrum antibacterial.

Directions for use : 

Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly
Wash well and pat dry the area before application.
Squeeze and apply on the skin in an upward circular direction
The application should be once every night followed by twice a week upon achievement of desired results
Begin with one application every night and once the perspiration is controlled reduce to twice a week or lesser period.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

Neoskin cream should be thinly and evenly applied to the affected area two or three times a day with a gentle rub.
