B4 Nappi Cream Composition

B4 Nappi cream is used to protect infants skin from wet nappies is manufactured by B4 Nappi Cream and contained the below active ingredients:

Calendula Oil

In cosmetics and personal care products, Calendula Officinalis Extract,  Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract and Calendula Officinalis Flower Oil function as skin conditioning agents - miscellaneous. Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract and Calendula Officinalis Flower Oil also function as fragrance ingredients. Calendula Officinalis Seed Oil functions as a skin conditioning agent - occlusive.

Altantoin

It helps shed the outer layer of the epidermis and promotes healthy tissue formation. It also softens the skin and enables it to absorb more moisture. It’s particularly effective at treating wounds, burns, skin ulcers, eczema, and any other abrasion in the skin. There's no evidence of anti-aging effects. Found in almost every type of cosmetic product including lotion, dandruff shampoo, toothpaste, shaving cream and lipstick.

Zinc Oxide

Zinc oxide is used in a wide range of cosmetics and personal care products including makeup, baby lotions, bath soaps and foot powders. It is used as a bulking agent , a colorant a skin protectant in over-the-counter (OTC) drug products and as a sunscreen. 

When used in sunscreen products, ZnO acts as a physical block to the sun's ultraviolet (UV) radiation, helping to reduce or prevent sunburn and premature aging of the skin.  Preventing sunburn is an important factor in reducing skin cancer risk.  Zinc oxide is the broadest spectrum UVA and UVB reflector approved for use as a sunscreen by the FDA and is allowed in concentrations up to 25%. When used as an ingredient in sunscreen, zinc oxide screens both UVA (320–400 nm) and UVB(280–320 nm) rays of ultraviolet light.

Mineral Oil

Mineral oils is used in cosmetic products have a high viscosity and cannot penetrate the skin due to their physical / chemical properties. This has been proven by studies carried out in recent years. They remain on the skin and protect the skin from moisture loss without sealing it off. At the same time, they have a water-repellent function.
